Tutorial 04: The Toggle Sharing Applet
Sometimes automation is just a matter of making it possible to reduce the steps invloved in performing a task, into a single click of the mouse. It doesn’t have to be a complex task you want to automate, it can just be something that you’re tired of doing over and over—like turning off and on the sharing preferences in the System Preference application.
If this is something you do many times during the day, reducing the six or seven steps it normally takes down to one click of the mouse, would be a useful tool to have.
